we went to utah so that the kids could play with their cousins, breathe the fresh mountain air, remember what fall looks like and dance around the crackling fire like lord of the flies. they roasted hot dogs and marsh mellows and when those were all out they roasted leftover corn on the cob. any excuse to have something burning over the open flame. so if you ask me was it worth driving ten hours packed in the van eight people deep with your parents and arriving at two in the morning with your less than with it father? i would have to say yes, but then if you asked me would you do it again tomorrow, i'd have to answer, i think the kids have had enough fresh air for a while.
