back to school

today was the first day of school.

-the good mom in me:
-made lunches to bring to school
-dressed the kids in cute outfits
-walked to and from the school four times
-got the kids to school on time
-knew the classroom numbers
-made caramel apples for the teachers
-is going to sign up for the pta

the bad mom in me:
-couldn't find trey's lunch pail and sent him with a grocery bag
-woke up too late to get pictures of the kids going to school in their cute outfits
-doesn't want the kids to ride their bikes to school, because they'd have to wear helmets and have helmet head hair at school
-didn't tell the kids where to meet after school for the pick up
-found mia in tears because she didn't know where her class was and couldn't find me
-didn't care if graphite is poisonous or not, because it looked cuter than a stick
-wants to just put " " marks on all the forms that i've spent the last 4 hours filling out

looking forward to summer vacation.
