kate is six

i just got an email from kate's teacher at church saying that in her prayer she said, "please bless my mom that she won't be angry with me for getting older..." i hope her prayer is answered because i don't want her to grow up! her mermaid party is tomorrow, she can't wait.

    i don't want her to get older either! that's cute that she prayed for it - outloud at church.

    Stranger things have happened ... i.e rainbow hair. Avery still talks about that. I guess some day we'll have to fess up.
